Former Roma manager Paulo Fonseca has decided to continue his career in France for the foreseeable future.
The Portuguese technician was officially announced as Lille’s new manager.
After taking a sabbatical year, Fonseca will be coaching the French side which came in 10th last season.
Fonseca had been close to Fiorentina and Tottenham after leaving the Italian capital, but both deals collapsed in the final stages of negotiations.
