Former Roma midfielder Francisco Lima was interviewed by NSL Radio and weighed in on the Giallorossi’s season.
The Brazilian, who spent three years with the club, expressed his disappointment regarding the team’s performances this season, believing they’re capable of much more.
“I don’t know what’s happening at Roma,” he began.
“We all know Mourinho is an important figure that’s won everything, but I’m disappointed by their ranking in the table because the team isn’t that bad.”
“They easily could’ve done much better. We know Serie A is a difficult league and every match is tough, but I believe Roma could’ve done much more, in my opinion.”
He added, “You have to give more of yourself when you play for a club like Roma. You have to play with determination because we’re talking about one of the most important environments in the world with wonderful supporters.”
“I got emotional the first time I stepped foot inside the Olimpico. Whoever plays for Roma always has to give absolutely everything.”
