Ex-Roma player Francesco Moriero: “Mourinho’s doing an impeccable job.”

Former Roma and Inter player Francesco Moriero – currently the head coach of the Maldives’ national team – was asked to preview the upcoming match between Simone Inzaghi’s team and the Giallorossi.

“It’s a tough game for both sides,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“Inter are favoured and forced to win, Roma for me have the advantage of playing for two results.”

When asked about Mourinho’s work at the club, Moriero said, “I hope Roma can win the Conference League with all my heart.”

“The team found has stability and has the great passion and support of their fans.”

“Then there’s Mourinho, who is managing the environment impeccably.”

He concluded, “It’s not easy to work in Rome: everyone talks, many of them in vain. I heard that Mourinho was finished and instead, look at the job he’s doing…”
