Former Roma and Chelsea attacker Pedro expressed his frustration with his exit from the Giallorossi in 2021.
In an interview with Spanish newspaper ABC, Pedro recalled Mourinho’s decision to push him out of Roma which prompted the veteran attacker to join city rivals Lazio.
“He made the decision to send me away,” said the ex-Barça man.
“What disappointed me most was that I tried to talk to him to find out why, I wanted him to say it to my face, we’re not children, and he didn’t want to. Even the club didn’t let me, it was a little weird.”
“So yeah, if I have to pick the greatest manager I worked with you already know my answer: I stand with Pep,” he added, mentioning his excellent relationship with Guardiola.
