Ex-Roma player Pietro Vierchowod critical of Mourinho’s second season

Andy Mattioli

Former Roma and Milan defender Pietro Vierchowod spoke about the Giallorossi’s struggles over the last few months, citing Mourinho’s lack of alternatives as the main reason for the team’s difficulties in front of goal.

“Roma can do more, several improvements are needed,” he told Radio Radio.

“I like Mourinho, but the football that Roma plays pays little in the end. They should have other solutions, find the right players and come up with new ideas.”

“The other night they won against Bologna, and that’s fine, but this team has to give more to compete with the top clubs. I would like them to, because I’ve always liked them as a team.”
