Legendary Roma fullback Vincent Candela made some veiled accusations toward former Roma GM Tiago Pinto and ex-Giallorossi boss Jose Mourinho.

During an interview at the World Legends Padel Tour event, Candela shared with reporters his thoughts on Roma’s busy summer ahead of next season.

“I would definitely buy Angeliño at that price, he is an excellent player with interesting footwork,” said Candela.

“Abraham? After a year out, I wouldn’t bet everything on him, I would bet on a great center forward in the summer.

“There are many expectations for Ghisolfi,” he added when asked about Roma’s new sporting director. “The foundations are made by the club, sporting director and coach.”

“Now it’s important to talk with each other, to be cooperative, not to think about one or the other. We need to think about Roma, this is what has never been thought of in recent times… those who preceded Ghisolfi and De Rossi thought only of themselves.”
