Former Roma president James Pallotta is eyeing a return to Serie A following his exit from the Giallorossi in 2020, when the capital club underwent an ownership change with Dan Friedkin becoming Pallotta’s successor.
According to today’s edition of Il Tempo, Pallotta – along with his advisor Franco Baldini – is in talks to acquire Sampdoria.
Another advisor, Alessandro Barnaba – who played a role in Pallotta’s final Roma years, and helped complete the ownership takeover – is also involved in the negotiations.
