Roma president James Pallotta recalled the 5th anniversary of the Giallorossi’s historic comeback with Barcelona in the Champions League.
Pallotta – who was club president at the time in 2018 and personally attended the match in the Champions League quarter-finals – dedicated a lengthy post on Twitter to the memories surrounding the incredible achievement from five years ago.
“Five years ago today, Roma pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in Champions League history. 4-1 down to Barcelona in the first leg, no one gave us a chance of qualifying. An incredible night that will always be one of my favorite memories at Roma.”
