Ex-Roma president Rosella Sensi praises Derby performance

Former Roma president Rosella Sensi at Trigoria

Former Roma president Rosella Sensi lauded the Giallorossi’s performance in their 3-0 dismantling of Lazio yesterday evening.

Sensi, who left the club in 2011, even admitted that the presence Francesco Totti in stands added to the emotions she felt following Roma’s Derby success.

“For my family and I, Roma is a matter of DNA—it’s something we feel within us,” she told Adnkronos.

“It’s very emotional to win the Derby, but winning like this, 3-0, and playing very well created an immense amount of joy that I’m still experiencing today. I also thank the supporters for the beautiful choreography at the stadium. I’m convinced my father also experienced joy from up there.”

She added, “Totti and Antonello Venditti’s presence made the night a full spectacle that the players gave to everyone. I hope to return the stadium soon.”
