Ex-Roma president Rosella Sensi: “The Friedkins have reawakened Roma. Dan Friedkin’s invitation moved me.”

Former Roma president Rosella Sensi – daughter of the legendary club owner Franco Sensi – spoke to Il Messaggero about Roma’s new ownership in light of the recent victory of the Conference League trophy.

“The fact that Roma invited me, made me a part of it, means a lot to me,” said Sensi.

“Everything seems obvious and banal, but it’s not. With this invitation many years of history of Rome have been recognised and it meant a lot to me.”

She continued, “I went to Tirana in memory of my father and my mother.”

“Thanks to the current ownership enthusiasm has returned once again. It’s as if something inside us has reawakened.”

“We have a solid ownership, a great coach and we just have to be close to this team to continue this important journey.”

“After the victory I saw Dan Friedkin and how he approached the team and this moved me. I understood the relationship he has with the boys. That’s a good president right there.”
