Ex-Roma sporting director Ramon Monchi – currently back at his beloved Sevilla side – discussed the possibility of facing his former club in the Europa League final.
In an interview with Tuttosport, Monchi commented, “I was hoping to see a Roma team that is this competitive.”
“I really want to meet them in the final. One, because it’d be great for both clubs. Two, because I’d like to face Mourinho.”
“I miss so many things about Roma,” he added. Beyond the sporting results, I lived in a beautiful city. I had the chance to get to know the life of Rome.”
“I miss it, I miss it so much. But now I’m in Seville and I’m so happy to be here.”
