Former Roma striker Roberto Pruzzo weighed in on the upcoming Derby della Capitale between Roma and Lazio.
In an interview with Radio Radio, Pruzzo previewed the match which will be the first derby experience for Daniele De Rossi as Roma’s head coach.
“I’m always of the opinion that in certain matches it’s better to have two injuries than one death, a draw doesn’t help anyone, but it keeps you alive.”
“Lazio has spent a lot of energy in the last three days, they need to recover physical and mental energy. It’s more or less the same for Roma: they have to recover the best players, something we’ve been hearing for the past two years now.”
“If you think about the last three games, the team has looked tired. I don’t know how the two teams get to Saturday’s match, on paper Roma are a little better as they will recover certain key players such as Dybala and Pellegrini.”
