Ex-Roma youngster Berisha leaves Dutch club Cambuur

Ex-Roma youngster Valmir Berisha, who joined Roma from Halmstads BK in 2014, is now without a club after having his contract with Dutch side Cambuur dissolved.

The Swedish youngster, who was one of the most highly rated strikers just a few shorts years ago (even being dubbed ‘The New Ibra’ by some Swedish media outlets), spoke to soccernews.nl about his departure: “I leave here with a bad feeling because I dissolved my contract with AS Roma to play here, to help Cambuur. But after a few training sessions, I was told that I had to go play for the second team: they never took me seriously.”
