(RomaPress – Exclusive): Belgian right back Thomas Foket of Gent has been linked with a move to Roma in recent days. The 23 year old’s contract with the Belgian side expires in June 2019 and he could be an opportunity on the transfer market for the Giallorossi. Today, RomaPress spoke exclusively to his agent, Gunter Thiebaut. These are his words:
There have been rumors recently about Roma pursuing Foket. Has there been any contact and would Roma be a welcome destination?
I don’t give any comment on rumours but like I said before, we are open to investigate every opportunity. That means we are as well open for a transfer abroad, as well to renegotiate a new contract in AA Gent. Thomas had a great and amazing comeback this season, he even almost made it to the World Cup squad again so we will see what will happen now.
