RomaPress – While talks for Matteo Politano are stalling, Roma has landed a new acquisition for January. Brazilian defender Ibañez is joining the Giallorossi from Atalanta on loan for 18 months for €2 million with an obligation to buy for €8 million.
Frederico Morães, the agent of the defender, confirmed exclusively to RomaPress that his client is joining Roma in the coming days.
“There’s no more meetings. Everything is agreed to (for a move to Roma)”, he said.
Ibañez will sign a 4.5 years contract with Roma as he departs Atalanta after six months.
”All that is left is signing the papers and then the medical, but we haven’t scheduled that yet”.
