RomaPress – Roma officially have their first signing for the upcoming winter transfer market in hand.
After nearly nine months of negotiations, Bodø/Glimt attacker Ola Solbakken is joining the Giallorossi on a free transfer after his contract with the Norwegian side expires next month.
Anders Carlsson, the player’s agent, confirmed to RomaPress that his client will touch down at Fiumicino Airport shortly ahead of his to carry out medical examinations and officially complete his move to the club.
“I can confirm he’s arriving today in Rome,” he stated.
Solbakken will put pen to paper on a contract that expires on 30 June 2027 before joining his teammates in training. Though, he will not participate in Roma’s upcoming tour of Japan.
The attacker officially ends his time at Bodø/Glimt with a tally of 20 goals and 24 assists in 91 appearances in all competitions for the club.
