RomaPress Exclusive: The future of Leandro Castan remains in doubt. Sporting director Monchi confirmed that the club is looking for a destination for the player, however, no concrete offers have arrived.
The Brazilian has had requests and inquiries from Italy, however, Castan’s first priority is to return to his native Brazil. One problem for Castan’s potential return is that the transfer window for the Brazilian league closed almost a month ago on 20 July. Sources close to the player have confirmed that one option that is available, and one the player prefers, would be the rescission of the contract, which would allow Castan to join the Brazilian club of his choice.
