Former Roma manager Fabio Capello discussed tonight’s showdown between Roma and Inter Milan at Stadio Olimpico.

In Capello’s opinion, this will be the first real test for Daniele De Rossi as the Giallorossi head coach since his appointment in January.

“I expect this game to be fun,” Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Roma-Inter is a challenge that carries with it many implications, not only for the league.”

“It is an important match for both teams, at a very particular moment of the season. De Rossi, after his coaching debut, faces the first really tough obstacle.”

“De Rossi will be called upon to undertake a task that is not at all easy: he will have to understand what the weak points of the league leaders could be and, consequently, exploit them to his advantage.”

“Honestly, based not only on the most recent results but also on the latest performances, I cannot imagine there’s anyone who could spot weaknesses in this Inter squad.”
