Former Roma manager Fabio Capello addressed the recent whispers linking Giallorossi manager Jose Mourinho with international coaching duties with Portugal.

During his appearance at Sky Sport Club, Capello dismissed the rumours, claiming the Special One would not accept managing both club and country.

“I don’t believe such a thing could happen,” Capello said. “Especially given how much focus and preparation goes into Mourinho’s work, I just don’t see it happening.”

“When you manage a national team, you must have the time to travel, get to know the players, talk to them. It takes time and effort,” he added.
