Former Roma and Juventus manager Fabio Capello reacted to last night’s match between the two teams.
The Italian technician revealed his impressions in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It seems normal to me that the Bianconeri are still figuring things out,” said Capello. “The team that took to the field in yesterday’s first half, despite being the same as the one that won in Verona, can be defined as experimental.”
“And in fact Juve struggled especially in the first half of the match, creating very little, orchestrating just two or three counterattacks and often leaving the ball to Roma. In the first 45 minutes the ball was traveling slowly, the team didn’t have great pace. And from memory I only remember a shot from Vlahovic, well saved by Svilar…”
“With Coceincao, Koopmeiners we saw much more quality on the pitch. And in fact Juve definitely took control of the match, despite not managing to win it.”
