Former Roma manager Fabio Capello weighed in on Romelu Lukaku’s future in the Italian capital.

During an interview with Radio Anch’io Sport for Radio 1, Capello spoke about the importance of Lukaku and what Roma should do going forward as his loan from Chelsea is about to expire.

“He is a very particular player, a team must set the game plan for him and with him. He is not a player with great technique when he receives the ball, but he is powerful, he is a great goalscorer, he is always a problem for the opponents,” said Capello.”

“Lukaku can be a decisive player, but at the same time due to his characteristics he prevents the team he plays for to express some different ideas of football.”

“However, Lukaku is one of the best strikers around, if I were Roma, I would be careful before giving up on him,” he added.
