Former Roma boss Fabio Capello weighed on the Giallorossi’s draw with Brighton in the Europa League Round of 16.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Capello discussed Roma’s chances heading into this match-up.

“It’s the match that intrigues me the most, it will be above all a challenge of pace. Roma have great individuals, like Lukaku and Dybala, but when Feyenoord raised the pace the other evening at the Olimpico, the Giallorossi suffered.”

“We need to get it into our heads that Brighton will be strong, very strong: they’re extremely dangerous.”

“De Rossi and De Zerbi? Too early to compare them. De Zerbi has great merit: he makes his ideas count wherever he coaches, he did it in Italy at Sassuolo, in Ukraine with Shakhtar and now in the Premier League. De Rossi was good at putting the players at ease… making them feel responsible. The team needed this.”
