Ex-Paparazzo and convicted felon Fabrizio Corona is expected to face consequnces for the unfounded allegations against Stephan El Shaarawy.
In recent weeks, Corona made several accusations against players in and outside of Serie A with regards to the latest betting scandal which has involved the likes of Nicolo Fagioli, Sandro Tonali and Nicolo Zaniolo.
More recently, Corona also named Stephan El Shaarawy as one of the players involved in the illegal betting scheme.
However, the accusations did not find any evidence, as reported by the Prosecutor’s Office in Turin.
Moreover, El Shaarawy filed a lawsuit against Corona.
As a result of this lawsuit, Corona is now under investigation for aggravated defamation by the Milan Prosecutor’s Office, reports ANSA.
