Roma’s final days in the summer transfer window will largely revolve around player exits. General Manager Tiago Pinto is currently trying to off-load the likes of Javier Pastore, Steven Nzonzi and Federico Fazio.
All three have been excluded from Roma’s plans and given their high salaries, the club are pushing for a solution that would help both parties part ways as soon as possible.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Federico Fazio has communicated to Roma that he is willing to move out of the capital only if he were to receive a ‘buonuscita’ of €2 million.
This would enable him to sign a premature contract resolution, and start looking for another team to join.
Fazio has currently one more year left on his contract and makes around €2 million in wages.
