Federico Fazio has signed a new contract with Roma.
The Argentine, who joined Roma last season on loan before being made permanent, has signed a new contract with the Giallorossi, which will expire in June 2020, the club have confirmed.
“This was an easy decision for me to make. Ever since I arrived here I’ve got on really well with all my team-mates, the staff and everyone who works here at Roma. I love the city and I’m really happy here. It’s great news that I’m going to be here until 2020,” said the defender on his new contract.
Roma sporting director commented on the renewal of the former Sevilla-man to the club’s official website saying, “With the renewal of Fazio, we are keeping hold of one of the pillars of the team. Personally, I am very happy because I have always felt Federico is a tremendous central defender.”
