Fazio: “A shame we couldn’t win against Chelsea.”

Roma defender Federico Fazio spoke to Sky Sport ahead of the match against Torino. These are his words:

The draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge?
It is a pity we did not win against Chelsea but now we have an important match ahead of us. We must do the same things in the league. As time goes on, we are finding the right way for all of us to play together, as soon as Di Francesco arrived, he immediately tried to instill in us what he wanted from us and have us prove to him what we could offer; so it’s very important to continue playing as we have been doing and to bring the three points home. It is true that in the league we haven’t won against the big clubs but in Europe we managed draws, but I do not think it is a “European Roma” because against Inter we were able to play a good match and we could have definitely won. Against Napoli, we had a good second half and it would have been fair if it ended in a draw. It’s a shame for us because luck in those two matches was not on our side while against two teams like Atletico and Chelsea, who have experience in Europe, we’ve shown we can play well and managed draws.

Sunday there is Torino-Roma.
Torino will not have Belotti but we must first think about ourselves as a team, though, Torino are a great team that plays very well and we know it will be a difficult match.
