Fazio to sue Roma: player intends to force his way back into first team

Federico Fazio is not going anywhere. The player has made it clear to Roma that he intends to remain despite the club were pushing for his exit over this summer transfer window.

The 34-year-old Argentinian is reportedly looking to sue Roma.

According to Sky Sport, Fazio has communicated to the club that he intends to pursue legally a reintegration into the first team after having been excluded from preseason training.

The player refused an offer from Genoa despite the fact that Roma were ready to cover a good portion of his salary for the upcoming campaign.

There is currently a lot of tension between the player and the club, with Fazio likely to remain in the capital by force.
