The saga involving FC Dallas right back Bryan Reynolds continues to drag on.
A report emerged yesterday from American journalist Taylor Twellman, who claimed that the defender will join Juventus from the MLS side in a deal worth around €8 million.
Late this evening, though, Dan Hunt, the owner of American club, stated that no deal has been agreed upon between his side and the Bianconeri, who are battling Brugge and Roma for Reynold’s signature.
“We’re incredibly proud of Bryan and everything that might be in his future,” he wrote.
“With that said, no deal for Bryan has been finalized. Any reports to the contrary at this point are misleading and inaccurate.”
His statements came not long after the 19 year-old took to his official Instagram account to deny that he has been leaking information to the media about his footballing future.
“I want to take a moment to clear something up: I haven’t spoken to any journalist about my immediate soccer future,” said Reynolds.
“Any reports that I have are incorrect. I’m excited and honored about what the future holds for me. I will continue working hard and focusing on being the best player and person I can be.”
Finally, “I hope each of you continue to have a safe and healthy holiday with your loved ones.”
