Roma continue to dream of Federico Chiesa as their big summer signing.
The Italian winger is deemed the ideal reinforcement for Daniele De Rossi’s team ahead of next season.
Chiesa was specifically requested by De Rossi who is said to have personally contacted the player in question.
According to Leggo, in their conversations, Chiesa expressed his enthusiasm at the thought of playing for Roma.
However, the newspaper also suggests that the Euro 2020 champion is still prioritizing a new deal with Juventus in light of Massimiliano Allegri’s imminent exit.
Allegri and Chiesa did not get along, hence the player would even consider staying in Turin in case the Tuscan manager was to leave the Bianconeri in the coming weeks.
