As reported a few days ago, the Juventus player has been officially excluded from Thiago Motta’s project and is on the market.
According to SportMediaset, the attacking winger would be open to a transfer to Roma but the operation remains complicated due to the salary requests of the former Fiorentina player.
Roma’s new policy is to avoid inflating the wage bill and Chiesa’s current demands are deemed unsustainable.
However, given that the cost of the player’s price tag should not exceed 20-25 million euros, the Giallorossi club may be willing to satisfy Chiesa’s financial requests after a round of negotiations.
