The agent of Federico Chiesa is back in the Italian capital as rumors regarding his client’s future have resurfaced stronger than ever.
After meeting with Juventus on Tuesday afternoon, Fali Ramadani – Chiesa’s long-time agent – took the next flight out to Rome.
To the Giallorossi fans who recognized him, he said he was in the capital to resolve Chiesa’s situation with Roma, writes Gianluca Piacentini in Il Corriere della Sera.
It is a mystery who Ramadani will talk to because both sporting director Florent Ghisolfi and CEO Lina Souloukou are in England with the team.
Indeed, reports from Trigoria suggest that Chiesa has never been a real objective for Roma.
The suspicion that Ramadani is “using” the Giallorossi club to call some other team out is legitimate, even if the market is full of second thoughts.
