Former Roma defender Federico Fazio – currently serving as Salernitana’s captain – was asked about the Giallorossi’s season as well as Argentina’s recent World Cup success.
“Roma? They have had too many ups and downs this season. They need to be more consistent,” Fazio said in a recent interview with Corriere dello Sport.
“This will be a tricky second half of the season as we haven’t been playing in almost two months. I think now everyone will try to make a great start after the World Cup.”
“But January is a tough month, especially for those participating several competitions. We will have to face strong opponents, great determination will be needed on everybody’s part.”
“Argentina? They relied on a magnificent Messi, but also played like a great team and despite not being the most talented squad, they still managed to win.”
