Felix and Maitland-Niles expected to return to starting line-up vs Sassuolo

After the defeat at San Siro in the Coppa Italia, Roma look ahead to their upcoming league fixture against Sassuolo.

According to Il Tempo, Jose Mourinho is expected to make several changes given Zaniolo (suspension) and Ibanez’s (knee injury) absences.

The Special One will likely rely on Ainsley Maitland-Niles from the start, with the Englishman slotting in on the left flank.

In the attack, we could see a return by Felix to the starting eleven. The former Primavera player should start alongside Lorenzo Pellegrini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Stephan El Shaarawy is also in the run for a starting spot, but currently the Italian winger is more likely to contribute off the bench.

Tammy Abraham should be able to recover in time for the match and is expected to lead the attack from the first minute.
