Roma prepare to face once more Dutch team Vitesse, this time around in their own home at the Olimpico for this midweek Conference League fixture.
Mourinho is expected to make some changes compared to the last game out against Udinese.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will reprise his role in the midfield after missing out on Udinese due to suspension. The Armenian international was sorely missed in a match where Roma dominated possession but lacked initiative going forward.
Furthermore, Felix Afena-Gyan is likely to replace Zaniolo in the starting line-up. The Italian attacker is bound to rest at some point and Mourinho wants him to be ready for the upcoming derby. Thus, Felix should be deployed alongside Tammy Abraham.
Jordan Veretout could also start, but a final decision will be made later this morning.
Mourinho will also decide whether to rely once again on Zalewski for the left flank or give El Shaarawy a chance from the first minute.
Meanwhile, Sergio Oliveira and Gianluca Mancini will serve their one-match suspension.
