Young Roma attacker Felix Afena-Gyan has become the latest to test positive for COVID-19.
The capital club released the following announcement on their website early this evening, announcing the diagnosis of the 18 year-old.
“The club can confirm that, following the latest round of molecular testing involving the first team squad, forward Felix Afena-Gyan has returned a positive test for COVID-19,” the Giallorossi wrote.
“The relevant health authorities have immediately been informed. The player, who has been vaccinated, is doing fine and has now begun isolating at home.”
Felix becomes the third players at Roma who recently tested positive for COVID-19—the others being Bryan Cristiante and Gonzalo Villar.
