Fenerbahce have joined the race for rumored Roma target Alvaro Morata.

The Spanish striker has been long linked with a return to Serie A with Roma listed as a possible destination for the 31-year-old.

Morata is considering move away from Atletico Madrid after trailing behind in Diego Simeone’s pecking order.

The player could be sold for €12 million with Roma having contacted his entourage.

However, the Giallorossi are not the only team interested in the ex-Juve man.

According to Turkish news portal Fanatik, Mourinho has instructed his new club, Fenerbahce, to pursue Morata.

The former Roma boss is keen on adding veteran players to his roster and the Spaniard would represent an important addition.
