Roma’s latest duel with Feyenoord brought some more memorable episodes to the already fascinating rivalry between the two European clubs.
In fact, footage released by ESPN highlighted an incident involving Feyenoord assistant coach John De Wolf and Roma fullback Rick Karsdorp.
In this incident, De Wolf is heard calling Karsdorp a “clown,” in reference to the Dutchman’s handling of certain situations on the pitch.
At half-time, Karsdorp confronted Feyenoord boss Arne Slot about this, telling him, “it’s not necessary to say things like that,” to which Slot agreed.
