Feyenoord manager Arne Slot sounded enthusiastic about the opportunity of facing Roma one more time almost a year after the Conference League final in Tirana.
In a recent press conference, Slot commented on the draw. “It’s a very nice opportunity for us. Hopefully we can bring our fans to Rome.”
“Do we have a chance? It would be absurd to say no. We lost the final in Albania, but that game was close. Roma managed to strengthen the team over the summer, we play with an almost completely new squad. But it’s a good fixture.”
