Following his side’s league 3-0 victory over Cambuur, Feyenoord manager Arne Slot admitted his side will have to be prepared to play in front of a raucous crowd in Thursday’s return leg of their Europa League tie against Roma.

The Dutch side travel to the Italian capital sporting a 1-0 aggregate lead after narrowly defeating Jose Mourinho’s men last Thursday in Rotterdam.

“Now we’re ready to begin preparations for Thursday to face Roma. In the first leg, we certainly tested their strength particularly in the final half hour,” stated Slot via Voetbal International.

“Furthermore, we’re aware there’s going to be around 70,000 people in the stadium all against us. Nonetheless, Roma will still be tasked with defeating a serious opponent in us.”
