Feyenoord manager Arne Slot sounded still bitter about losing the Conference League final to Roma as he sat down to preview the upcoming Europa League fixture with Lazio.
“Last year we had to learn many different things about facing certain Italian teams.”
“We all saw how an Italian team [Roma] rolled around the pitch all the time, diving and wasting minutes,” Slot said in his pre-match presser, recalling the tense Conference League final in Tirana.
“Roma and Lazio have strong identities. Whether that’s for the better or worse, we’ll only be able to tell tomorrow night after the game.”
