Feyenoord lose last league match, boss Arne Slot: “I hope my players can learn from this defeat ahead of the final.”


Feyenoord manager Arne Slot was not happy with his side going down to Twente in their last league outing of the season.

“This game may not have been worth a lot in the grand scheme of things, but for me it was in view of an important match like the Conference League final,” he told vi.nl.

“Losing is never fun, I hope my players can learn something from this defeat, it must be the most important lesson today.”

“Trauner, Nelson and Malacia will return to training on Wednesday, Kökçü’s injury is not serious,” he concluded.
