Feyenoord boss Arne Slot was present at this afternoon’s press conference ahead of tomorrow’s long-awaited showdown with Roma in Tirana.
“Feyenoord must play a game of positioning , as Roma will try to score from a distance,” said the Dutch coach.
“We have already had similar experiences in the league, today there is more tension and nervousness.”
He added, “We will have to play like we did all year round and take into account the opponent’s game.”
“Roma have a great tradition, Italy has excellent players, creative in the offensive phase, a goal-scorer like Abraham and knows how to defend itself well.”
“We know what to expect, but we never know. Sometimes the coaches have aces up their sleeve, and if they were to surprise us? I said that we played 55 games, it would be a surprise if Roma were to come up something that we haven’t seen yet.”
