Feyenoord attacker Alireza Jahanbakhsh was asked about his expectations for tonight’s Europa League showdown with Roma at Stadio Olimpico.

In his pre-match press conference, Jahanbakhsh underlined how Roma have changed since Daniele De Rossi took over in January.

“The Olimpico? It’s true we’ve been here often in recent years, we played against Lazio twice and last year against Roma,” said the Iranian forward.

“The differences are many: there is a new coach and a new way of playing. Last year they played with a 5-man defense, conceded little and played less offensively but were very solid.”

“This year Roma plays with 4 at the back, tries to set up and build from the back and the mentality has also changed. In any case Roma is a difficult opponent. The first leg was balanced, I expect a difficult and complicated match as always.”
