Feyenoord’s Marcos Senesi: “Roma will have more rhythm in their legs for the final.”

Feyenoord defender Marcos Senesi – who for the past year has been linked with a move to the capital club – spoke to OLE about facing the Giallorossi in the Conference League final.

“It’s a new competition, we want to be the first ones to win it and make history,” he said from Feyenoord’s retreat in Portugal.

“For me it’s the first final I’ll play and I hope it’s the best way to win it. We have already completed our league campaign and we have come to Portugal to make a mini retreat and, at the same time, prepare for the final which can be an advantage.”

“But,” he concluded, “Roma will have more rhythm in their legs because they are playing important games now.”
