Last night’s goal-scorer, Feyenoord man Mats Wieffer, discussed having to face Roma at the Olimpico next Thursday.
In a post-match interview with Ad.NL, Wieffer said, “This was a great result for us, although we struggled in the final moments of the match.”
“There’s still everything left to play for in the return leg. We will have our chances in Rome too. We won this first game with personality.”
