Sky Sport has reported this evening that Paulo Fonseca has been confirmed as the manager for next season.
There were whispers that the Portuguese manager could be sacked in favor of a “bigger” name such as Mauricio Pochettino or Maurizio Sarri.
Ryan Friedkin, the son of new Roma owner Dan Friedkin, met in London today with Roma CEO Guido Fienga and it is reported that the duo agreed on keeping Paulo Fonseca on the bench to start next season.
Fonseca achieved a fifth placed league finish but the Giallorossi were very underwhelming in their cup competitions in his first season in the Italian capital.
