Il Tempo (Austini): Now there is the “OK” from the FIGC. Monchi will now be able to work in his role as a sporting director without any red tape in Italy.
The Federation, led by Tavecchio, approved the request of Roma to allow Monchi to operated to operate in his role freely. The passage of Monchi to Roma is now official after he signed his four year contract, with an option for a fifth. By his side will be Ricky Massara, who Monchi has been working with to try and bring Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.
The only thing lacking in the operation is the agreement with the player. Roma isn’t afraid of the deal being interrupted by another club as they already have an agreement with Atalanta and the relationship with the player’s agent, George Atangana, remains friendly.
