FIGC chief Gravina: “The hope is that the season can be resumed”.

Gabriele Gravina, the president of the Italian football federation, spoke to Italpress today and discussed the situation in Italian football.

“The hope is that the season can resume and, therefore, be completed, albeit late compared to what was expected,” he admitted.

“Admittedly, there are several options already under consideration. In the meantime, we will participate in tomorrow’s meeting with UEFA to understand the international scenario. However, starting again by May would allow us to end the season”.

”Economically, many clubs are at risk – particularly amateur ones. The effects may also be felt in Serie C, which is why ‘Il Fondo Salva Calcio’ was created and will be a useful tool”.
