FIGC have reportedly conclude their investigation of Jose Mourinho’s remarks directed at Serie A official Matteo Mercenaro.
The FIGC Prosecutor’s Office notified today the formal complaint with notice of conclusion of investigations relating to the proceedings opened last Saturday for harmful statements by José Mourinho towards the Sassuolo-Roma referee Matteo Marcenaro.
As reported by ANSA, now the Giallorossi coach – together with the club – will have to establish the defensive strategy.
The club will have five days available – starting today – to present its defense briefs or ask the federal prosecutor Giuseppe Chiné to question Mourinho before a possible referral. The risks regarding the Special One are a fine or disqualification.
