Jose Mourinho is to be interrogated with regards to his remarks directed at Serie A official Matteo Mercenaro.

The Portuguese technician has in fact been under investigation for his criticism of Mercenaro on the eve of the match against Sassuolo a few days ago.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho will most likely answer questions from the Prosecutor’s Office later today in a conference call from Trigoria.

Along with it, Roma have prepared an entire file for defense of their manager.

The newspaper claims that the FIGC’s verdict on the matter could end up being delayed, with Mourinho potentially facing yet another suspension in 2024.
